How to use this worksheet

After the sheet, go on a two-minute hunt: find one plant, one animal and one thing that is not living at all. Grade 1 children often think anything that moves is alive, so pointing at a car or a fan and saying 'moves, but not living' clears up the most common misunderstanding in this whole topic.

Does my child need to know animal names in English before starting?
