Is any of this tested at Grade 1?

Most Grade 1 curricula assess exactly these basics: living versus non-living, plant parts, and where animals live. The worksheet stays inside that scope rather than adding harder classification.

My child thinks anything that moves is alive. Is that normal?

Very normal at Grade 1. Cars, fans and clouds all move, so movement feels like the rule. Point out that living things grow, need food or water, and make young ones - a toy car does none of those.
