How to use this worksheet
Draw food-chain answers with arrows, and say out loud what the arrow means: 'is eaten by'. Grade 3 students frequently draw the arrows backwards, which looks like a careless slip but is really a sign the arrow's meaning was never stated. One sentence fixes it for good.
