Grade 3 names parts and habitats; Grade 4 explains adaptation, food chains, seed dispersal and self-defence, and expects a reason with each answer.

Which way should food-chain arrows point?

From the organism being eaten towards the one eating it, because the arrow shows energy moving. Grass to grasshopper to frog, not the reverse.

Is a cactus spine a leaf or a thorn?
